Text Box: Dewi Owens, Welsh speaker married to Helen. We have a daughter Emma and a son Nick, both of whom are now married and have children of  their own. I am also a County Councillor . We have lived in or around St.Asaph for most of our lives, with Helen having attended the Rhyl Grammar School and myself St.Asaph Grammar, which is now Ysgol Glan Clwyd. I have been in business all my life and during that time have sat on main boards of companies.

Text Box:  Locally I have served on the management committee of the Denbighshire & Flintshire Agricultural show and I am a governor at Cefn Meiriadog primary school, and also sit on the boards of the North Wales and North West Fishery Committee, WJEC in Cardiff, and of Llandrillo College. I have been a member of the St.Asaph and Lancashire Cricket Club and Denbigh Golf Club for many years and take an interest in all sport. I believe very strongly in greater powers for local residents and will fight for democratic decisions of local councils.
