CITY OF ST.ASAPH TOWN COUNCIL
CYNGOR TREF DINAS LLANELWY

PARTICIPATORY BUDGET
The Town Council holds a participatory budget in May/June of each year. This is a scheme where a fund of money is made available and any local group or organisation may submit a bid for help with any project which will help the community. A public meeting is then held where votes are cast by the people for the preferred projects. The schemes with the most votes are awarded grants to support their project.
The total amount of money may vary each year but is usually about £4,000. The Town Council has made most of the money available but significant sums have been added by Denbighshire County Council and St.Asaph Rotary in the past
The projects must cost no more than £500, must not be for any financial gain and must benefit St.Asaph.
For further details contact the Town Clerk as given on the home page or watch for local notices or items in the City Times.
